This post is in partnership with Toyota USA. Thank you for your continued support for Life in Wanderlust!
I’ve been a proud #ToyotaPartner for a couple of years now but have been a Toyota fan since I was a little girl growing up in Tokyo. My parents drove a Camry for years and it’s always been a brand that I just knew to trust. Anyway, when Toyota reached out to partner with them in celebrating art and music at Life is Beautiful with their brand new 2020 Corolla, you know I couldn’t say no!
The 2020 Toyota Corolla:
I got to experience the 2020 Toyota Corolla for an entire week and drove it back and forth to Vegas, where Life is Beautiful is held. I received a stunning, practically brand new 2020 Toyota Corolla in a sharp metallic grey which they call ‘celestite’. In this moment (we’re car shopping right now), I drive a 2012 car so this felt like a serious upgrade! It’s beautiful inside and out and I haven’t even talked about the amazing specs yet! Check out my Instagram post of the car.
Here’s a few highlights of the 2020 Toyota Corolla:
- Starts at just $19,650
- 36-38 mpg hwy
- 2020 is their 12th generation and better than ever!
- Includes Toyota Safety Sense (pre-collision system, road sign assist, lane departure alert & more!)
- New TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) platform that makes for an insanely comfortable and agile drive
- Super spacious interior
- Technology : wi-fi connect, Apple CarPlay and Amazon Alexa compatibility
- A Hybrid option! (Which I’ve driven before and it’s ahhhh-mazing)
My personal experience? Incredibly smooth and comfortable. It feels like an entry-level luxury sedan and I’m not kidding. The drive from Los Angeles to Las Vegas can be between 4-6 hours and we were so comfortable the entire time. We only made 1 stop for food and stretching but that was it! Not only that, we only had to fill our tank once on our way back to Los Angeles!
Life is Beautiful Festival:
I’m a huge music festival fan, specifically in the genre of electronic music. If you’ve followed me on Instagram, you know I’ve partnered with Toyota two years in a row now to take me to EDC. Even though I hadn’t heard of Life is Beautiful before, I was totally up for it! I loved the idea of combining art, food and music – um, my 3 favorite things!
Life is Beautiful is held in downtown Vegas across a number of city blocks. As promised, there’s a ton of food options, a lot of cool art displays and tons of stages with a great variety of artists from different genres. I was especially excited to see Jonas Blue, Gryffin, Chance the Rapper and Zedd on the lineup!
At the Life is Beautiful Festival, Toyota had their own stage (how cool?!) that hosted up and coming artists from all over the world. The Toyota Music Den incorporated the 2020 Toyota Corolla and the Camry with fun activities like; lineup tattoos (you got to pick your lineup and get a temporary tattoo), a wig station (virtually try on wigs and then get an actual wig you like) and my favorite, a candy shop!
Toyota also had another tent with a food truck (literally a Toyota truck!), a photo booth and a clear backpack screen-printing station! I loved and so appreciated the fact that they were giving out clear bags that were allowed on premise. I had a fun little mocktail from the truck and Adam snacked on some beef jerky! And of course, we *had* to get a photo or two from the photo booth!
After walking around the festival eating, listening to music and going through all the art exhibits, we ended the night by enjoying Jonas Blue and Gryffin. They both had mind-blowing sets (especially Jonas Blue) and I went back to the hotel definitely feeling like life was beautiful!
Finally, a huge thank you again to Toyota USA (and Taylor!) for partnering with me for this incredible experience! I’ve enjoyed all the opportunities they’ve given me the past couple of years. If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I rarely take ads or collaborations. That’s because I pride myself in having a lot of integrity, so you know I truly believe in a brand if I’m partnering with them!
