Meet Kana
Kana is the creator of Life in Wanderlust, a Travel & Food Blog. In search of a creative outlet while finishing her Master’s degree, she established LIW to explore and share her greatest passions – food and travel. Through completing her degree and exploring countless career paths, Life in Wanderlust has remained a constant for Kana, bringing her passions from the airport to your computer screen.
Born and raised in Tokyo, Kana grew up in a bi-cultural family and is a proud Japanese American. Kana made her way to Washington for her college education, and has since lived in Seattle, Portland, Detroit, Atlanta and currently calling Downtown Los Angeles home along with her husband Adam and sweet Corgi Oshie.

- Favorite Place I’ve Ever Traveled: New Zealand!
- Favorite Method of Travel: Airplane! Although I love a good road trip and find train travel so romantic!
- Favorite Travel Memory: So many but standing amongst the Mayan ruins in Chichen Itza was insane!
- Favorite Meal Eaten Whilst Traveling: Don’t @ me but the McDonald’s Lamb & Beet Burger with a side of Cadbury McFlurry really hit different, yum!

Meet the LIW Team
Grace Interlichia | Content Editor
A West Coast transplant, Grace was born and raised in New York. Spending her childhood upstate before moving to New York City to pursue costume design. She started her career working off-Broadway, both in costume design and wardrobe supervision. Grace moved out west in 2017 and hasn’t looked back since!
Living in West Hollywood with her rescue pup Charlie, Grace has used her passion for the written word to fuel her career path. Working as LIW’s content editor, Grace helps to bring Kana’s experiences to the page.
