5 Best Steakhouses in Las Vegas

Best steakhouses in Las Vegas
Jean-Georges Steakhouse at Aria

As a frequent visitor of Las Vegas and a lifelong steak-lover, I’ve tried most of the best steakhouses in Las Vegas so that you don’t have to! Out of about 15 steakhouses mostly on the strip and some off, I’ve narrowed the best down to 5. Without further ado, let’s get started!

Jean-Georges Steakhouse at Aria

One of my favorite and nicest hotels in Vegas is Aria (and the Vdara which is the longer-term hotel next to Aria) so it’s no surprise that one of the best steakhouses in Vegas happens to be here. Can you truly go wrong with Chef Jean-George? Not really. Jean-Georges Steakhouse is a classic American steakhouse with flair. The menu is quite simple and the quality of each item is excellent. Reservations are available via MGM or OpenTable.

The Bazaar by Jose Andreas at Sahara

A friend that knew my love for steak had recommended The Bazaar by Jose Andreas, a steakhouse at the Sahara. While I’m personally not a huge fan of the Sahara (yes, even the renovated version) and still wonder why such a wonderful steakhouse ended up there, it’s worth going for The Bazaar. It’s dark, moody, almost sexy, with the highest quality of meats. A bazaar of meats, if you will <insert laughter>. Nothing classic about this place; it’s playful in presentation and in taste. Oh, and if you love a good cocktail, you can get a creative one here.

Bavette's Steakhouse Las Vegas

Bavette’s Steakhouse at Park MGM

When Bavette’s, a Chicago classic, opened at Park MGM, I couldn’t be more thrilled. As much as I love Eataly Las Vegas which also sits at Park MGM when I want a substantial meal (see: a good, juicy steak), it’s time for Bavette’s. Not only is it one of the best steakhouses in Las Vegas, but it’s also one of my favorite steakhouses of all time. Bavette’s has a French flair and speakeasy vibes. Their ribeye is my favorite dish, and don’t forget to save room for their incredible dessert menu.

Prime Steakhouse at Bellagio

Now if you’re looking for a high-end, luxury steakhouse experience, Prime Steakhouse at Bellagio is the one for you. Like the Aria steakhouse, Prime is also led by Jean-Georges so you know you’re getting an award-winning meal. The restaurant itself is elegantly designed with some seats facing the Bellagio fountains. In fact, they have a garden patio if outdoors is more your type. Our dinner at Prime lasts about 2~3 hours total making for a wonderful evening.

Jean George's Aria

Tender Steakhouse at Luxor

Another steakhouse that may come as a surprise on this list of best steakhouses in Las Vegas, is Tender. It’s only surprising because it’s inside Luxor, which if you’ve been there before, you wouldn’t expect a nice steakhouse to be there. I would say Tender is a touch more affordable in price than the other four, but a solid top 5 choice. Nothing fancy, no extra flair, just a fantastic steakhouse.

What do you think? Have you been to any of these steakhouses in Vegas before? If I missed any, let me know in the comments!
