If you’re looking for hotels in Osaka, this Conrad Osaka review is worth the read! For more Osaka and Japan content, make sure you browse through here.
Even though I was born and raised in Japan, this was my first time ever in Osaka! So when I was looking for hotels in Osaka, I had no idea where to stay. Of course, I ended up looking in the ‘busier’ area of the city, so it was convenient to get around. I ended up booking the Conrad Osaka, and not only do I have no regrets, but I also can’t wait to stay there again!
Conrad Osaka Room
Let’s get straight to what everyone wants to see: the room! Since we have status with Hilton, we were upgraded from a standard room to a Twin Premium View Room. I mean, take a look at this view from our room! Our room was on the 37th floor, so the views were absolutely stunning.
Our room was gorgeous. The decor was impeccable and chic. We found out later that the hotel is only 5 years old! You’ll find that a lot of hotels in Japan will have 2 twin beds as king beds are not as available culturally. Note that it’s not the American “twin” bed, it’s honestly almost a full size bed.
I completely forgot to take a picture of the actual toilet for this Conrad Osaka review, but the toilet was in a separate room right by the entrance. A lot of Japanese hotels have the toilet separate from the sink, bath, and shower, which I personally appreciate!
Breakfast Buffet
If you follow me on Instagram or TikTok, you may know I’m obsessed with breakfast and brunch. Normally I wouldn’t discuss breakfast (that came with our room due to our status, but it’s 5,000 yen normally), but the breakfast at the Conrad Osaka was one of the bet hotel breakfast buffets I have ever had. I just had to mention it! Take a look for yourself how wonderful this breakfast is.
Overall Experience of the Conrad Osaka
If I could give the Conrad Osaka a 15 out of 10, I would. The service was incredible as Japanese service usually is and the property and rooms were stunning. A little shoutout to Sarah, the Guest Relations Manager who chatted with us during breakfast about growing up in Fiji, moving from Tokyo, and everything in between. As a former Director of Front Office at Hilton myself, I appreciated how heartfelt and authentic she was. Sarah if you’re reading this, thank you for your hospitality!
