Did you know the birthplace of Smurfs was Brussels, Belgium? I didn’t know that until I was planning my vacation to Brussels! When I saw they had a Smurf Room, I knew I had to book it. Here’s my Hilton Brussels Smurf Room review!

Hilton Brussels Review
The Hilton Brussels Grand Place is located in the heart of the city, in the popular Grand Place area. It’s about a 10-minute cab ride from the Brussels-Centraal train station. Since we rode into Brussels via Eurostar from London and were exhausted, we took a cab. However, the Grand Place station is conveniently across the hotel too!
Once you’re at the hotel, everything is within walking distance. There are a ton of restaurants, shops, and things to do within a one-mile radius. I’m such a huge fan of convenient hotel locations, and this is it!
The hotel itself is beautiful, with a bar and two restaurants on the property. The customer service was wonderful! Even if you don’t stay in the Smurf room, I still 100% recommend it if you find yourself in Brussels.
Smurf Room
I think it’s criminal that Hilton Brussels Grand Place only has one Smurf room. It’s adorably curated, and even my husband, who couldn’t care less about Smurfs, was enjoying it! As for me, a Smurfs fan, I was in mushroom and blue heaven!
The room is large, with two queen beds and a pull-out couch. I can only assume this is to accommodate families with children, so if you do, it’s the perfect room for you! And even if you don’t have kids (like us), book it anyway because you’d get a bed to yourselves, which is so nice after long days of exploring the city.
The number of details and amount of effort that went into decorating this room were so appreciated! There were mushroom string lights, blue soap, and other charming additions that made the room perfectly Smurf-themed.
