Wow, it’s been a long time since I posted anything for my LA Locals Love series! I promise there’s more coming! If you’re new here, click here for a list of posts from that series – I introduce activities, restaurants, etc of places in the Los Angeles area.
Since county fairs can be fairly self-explanatory, I thought I would do more of a photo diary style. The colors, the ridiculous food, fun games are better communicated through pictures when it comes to fairs!
That’s it, friends! I hope you enjoyed this little photo diary of my weekend at the Orange County Fair. It’s my 2nd time here and definitely won’t be the last. The LA County Fair starts mid September and I have yet to go to that one so hopefully I’ll make it this year!
Also, my OC Fair 2015 is still one of the most read posts – click here to check that out!

This is a serious feast for the eyes, Kana! All your photos are so vibrant, and you know how #Ihavethisthingwithcolour! Looks like you had an absolute blast, hope I make it to the fair some day!
Wow this looks like so much fun! And yes, totally Instagrammable! Love fairs like this. Did you go on many rides?
The fair looks so fun! And fried cheesecake on a stick? My life won't be complete until I try it!
This looks like such a fun fair! Gosh I haven't been to a fair in years, and I think it's time to rectify that!
Such fun photos! I love the bright colors of the amusement park with the perfect blue sky in the background. Love the comment about the large amounts of fried food in America, it was honest and humorous.
The photos are absolutely amazing, we love all the vibrant colours. Cheesecake on a stick is genius and the whole post brings back memories of our local seaside arcade & fairground. It seems like you had an awesome (and successful day), quite jealous of the Squirtle! Love C and D x
I love summer fairs they are the best! That fried cheese cake looks so good!
I live in California but never made it to the Orange! Will visit it shortly. Great inspiration! Thank you!
Thanks so much Flo! The Fair is always so fun! I wish it wasn't so hot (it was in the high 90's that day) but nothing an ice cream can't fix right? Haha! Hope you make it to one of the fairs too! Thanks for joining the linkup again this week! xo
This might be just me but the rides cost like 18 tickets, which equals to about $8 a ride – for a fair ride, I think it's a biiiiiit much. The skychair is always my favorite so I invest in that but otherwise, I go for the food and games π Thanks so much for stopping by and participating in the linkup again this week! xo
Haha I know! I totally didn't finish it the cheesecake but it was so worth just saying I had it, haha! Hope you get to try some soon! Thanks so much for stopping by and participating in the linkup! xo
Same! I hadn't been in YEARS and now I'm obsessed! You'll love it, definitely try one out this summer! π Thanks for stopping by and joining our linkup! xo
Thanks Brooke! Hahaha, I'm glad you appreciated the honesty about fried food! I don't hate it but it is true π Thanks so much for stopping by and joining our linkup this week! xo
Aww thank you so much! Yes the cheesecake idea is genius – everyone knows they're not going to finish it but the novelty is something you can't pass up! π Thanks so much for stopping by and participating in the linkup! xo
Me too! Fairs are so much fun! The fried cheesecake was good – couldn't finish it but still good π Thanks so much for stopping by! xo
Yes! The OC Fair is a blast, I've never been to the LA County Fair yet though – have you? You'll have to try it out next summer, it's worth it! π Thanks so much for stopping by and joining our linkup this week! xo
Aww I love the OC fair! One of the best out there with the best concerts too!!!
