For the first time in three years, I finally got to go home (Tokyo). And because it’s been so long, I treated myself, and I’m stoked to be doing this Delta One Suites review from LAX to HND for you all! I’ll share tons of pictures, thoughts, and everything in between. Let’s get to it!
Before I forget, follow me on Instagram and TikTok for fun Japan updates!
Delta One Check-In at LAX
The luxurious experience starts right when you get to LAX. There’s a separate cubicle of sorts just for Delta One check-ins. I was too flustered (read: stressed) and forgot to take pictures, but imagine going into a separate room with a nice couch, a beautiful drink station, and a large snack table amongst the check-in desk. I was greeted by an agent who kindly took my bags and checked me in. Nobody was in there either, so I had the most private and lovely check-in experience!
Delta Lounge at LAX
Of course, you can access the Delta Lounge at LAX with a Delta One ticket. The Delta Lounge is brand new in Terminal 3 and is a beautiful space. I grabbed so many pictures from the lounge I may create a separate post for it (stay tuned). For now, though, there’s tons of space and seating, indoors and outdoors (loved the outdoor space!), and of course, FOOD and DRINKS! Yay!
Delta One Suites Review from LAX to HND
Now onto the main event, the Delta One Suites review from LA to Tokyo!
Delta One passengers get to board first, and get plenty of time to fall in love with your suite. The suite is an entire cubicle, with a 1-2-1 layout. I was flying alone, so I specifically chose a window seat. Keep in mind, even numbered window seats have the seats right by the window. The odd numbered window seats have the seats by the aisle. I always prefer to be as close to the window as possible so I was in row 2.
If you’re with others and want to stay close, I recommend the middle 2 seats as there’s a divider that you can pu up or down. I personally would still choose the window seat even if I was with my husband (lol) but my parents love the middle seats so they can chat!
The meal service was excellent in the Delta One Suites. I can’t even recall how many times I was offered drinks and food but enough that I was very happy and full!
Lastly, keep an eye out here for all Japan posts old and new!
