If you’re looking for good places to eat in Las Vegas, you’re in for a treat at Eataly Las Vegas at Park MGM. Who doesn’t love Italian food, right? Well, Eataly Las Vegas has over 40,000 square feet of it to offer! Not only can you eat there, you can shop, sip on wine and even take classes at the Chef’s Table.
Panedmic Update:
If you’re reading this during the pandemic (this post is being written February 2021), just know that some areas of Eataly is temporarily closed. However, Eataly in general is open and still plenty of options for eating, drinking and shopping. So not to worry! If you’re curious about what Las Vegas is like during COVID times, check out my post here.
Eataly Las Vegas Recommendations:
While I’ve tried several spots at Eataly Las Vegas, I have some in particular that I highly recommend.
First for a fabulous meal, hit up La Rosticceria Pizza Gourmet Il Fritto.
Their simple and classic prosciutto sandwich is perhaps the best sandwich I’ve ever had. If you’ve followed me for a while, or know me in person, you know this is a big statement for me to make. It’s crispy crunchy toasty on the outside and soft on the inside. Basically perfection. For a side dish, I recommend the polenta fries and or the shiitake fries.
Next, you need dessert, don’t you?
Everyone does (and should!). As a proud, self-proclaimed dessert connoisseur, Italian pastries is one of my favorites. “Cannolis are my love language”, as my editor Grace says (she’s of Italian descent). Anyway, head to La Pasticceria to satisfy your sweet-tooth. The only problem you’ll have there is trying to pick just one thing. As a result, I could not pick just one thing, so I ended up with a chocolate cannoli, an almond pastry cake, a baked pear cake and a cookie. Oh, and don’t forget to get yourself a latte for those sweets next door at Lavazza Cafe.
You can shop at Eataly, too!
Lastly before you leave, stroll through the gift shop and market for something to take home or for your loved ones that are missing out on the trip. You can pick up little Eataly/Italy chachkies, pasta, sauces and my favorite? The Italian chocolate bar where you can fill up a 1/2 lb bag full of delicious chocolates for ~$18 (or 1 lb for ~$35, go big or go home, amirite?).
After that, if you’re over 21, there’s a large Wine Shop inside Eataly Las Vegas as well as a wine bar. Whether you want to drink a sip there or take a bottle (or two…or three, who’s judging? Not me) back to your hotel or home, there’s a lot of Italian wines they have to offer.
What do you think of Eataly Las Vegas? Have you been, or plan on visiting?
